The Mares Quad dive computer has a large "Jumbo sized" clear display screen meaning a much larger and more visible display. The Quad is an easy to use dive computer, ideal for everyone but with multi gas capabilities to cater for the more technical diver as well.
The large display make it especially useful for those struggling to see small screens and digits. The Quad is also future proofed with the ability to update the software as new versions become available.
My Opinion:
Having just had the opportunity to take the Mares Quad computer on a few dives I thought I would give some feedback which may be helpful to anyone thinking of a purchase, beyond the usual facts and figures.
Firstly, having been around for a few years I find seeing my diving watch a little challenging, so the large display, and in particular, the large digits for the most important info needed whilst in the water, made this so much easier for me to use. Some might be put off by the physical size of the unit but for me clarity of view was most important, and, if any of you out there can remember it, the 'Orca Edge' was my first computer, which was akin to strapping a small brick to your arm, by comparison this is compact and bijou!
Whilst there is a comprehensive instruction manual with it, I did what most do when I first got it and just started pressing the buttons. Within a few minutes I had set time, date etc., and found my way around all the different modes, which must mean it's super intuitive as I didn't come accross a single problem I couldn't work out without refering to the manual (or a young kid). The four buttons also take the frustration out of working your way through the menu's as if you go too far you can just go back, rather than having to keep scrolling until you get to the correct point again, particularly useful if you're in a hurry, or just an impatient kind of person!
Whilst I'll never use all of the multi gas and decompression abilities it offers, the nitrox option will be used, and I also found that to be simple to set up.My verdict, the Quad is an excellent new computer from Mares, it's quite light, to my eyes stylish, simple and refreshingly clear and easy to get on with. If you've dived with a computer before and know how to use one, simply strap it on your wrist, jump in the water and enjoy.

Availability
"In Stock"
This means that the item is in stock and ready for despatch. We do make the odd mistake but 98% of items that say in stock, are actually in stock. If you are ordering a quantity of any item, you are welcome to email or phone to check the quantity available.
"Despatch 6-10 Days"
You are able to buy/order the item but just to advise you that the item is not currently in our warehouse and therefore not available for immediate despatch but is on order or en route to us from the supplier and we hope to despatch your order within 6-10 Working Days, often less. Delivery
Free Standard UK Delivery on orders over £35 are usually sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 service (*exclusions apply see Delivery FAQs). FREE delivery, on orders over £35, applies to MOST, NOT ALL* UK mainland addresses (*exclusions apply see Delivery FAQs). We use a combination of Royal Mail and Carrier services and in some cases a signature is required to confirm receipt (high value/bulky orders).

We reserve the right to collate multiple orders into one delivery if going to the same address. We are unable to split orders/deliveries if any one item in an order is not available from stock, indicated by 'Despatch due date / Awaiting stock / Stock expected'. So we would usually despatch an order once complete as/when all the items are available from stock to send as one parcel.
Returns
We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase but any Christmas Gift purchases from Saturday 21st October 2023 which are unsuitable may be returned for exchange or refund, when received by 13th January 2024
