Mares Prestige SLS Diving BCD

The Prestige SLS BL BCD from Mares incorporates their years of experience and technology into a top quality BCD that caters to all divers from beginner to Instructor and from the occasional holidaying diver to the more experienced UK diver.

With detailed research into the chest and shoulder area, Mares have made improvements in the fit of this new BCD by delivering a profile dedicated to each size, providing a true fit and better freedom of movement for the arms. The combination of the new profile, swivelling buckles on the shoulders, and the ergonomic cut of the BCD, results in a product with unprecedented ergonomic fit and comfort.

The Prestige SLS offers excellent lift capacity and is lighter in total weight: ranging from 3.3kg in the XXS She Dives style to 4kg in the XL Man's size. The BCD re-design, incorporating the latest materials, decreases the weight of the vest by a kilo compared to the previous version. For example, the bag is constructed of 420 Denier nylon, a very lightweight material that is also incredibly durable, resisting tears and abrasions. These evolutions also make the Prestige SLS an ideal vest for travelling.

The innovative second-generation integrated SLS system (Slide and Lock System) is reduced in size while maintaining its unique characteristics: more stable weight retention, larger sealing surfaces, active mechanical locking system, quick release mechanism, guide tunnel for easier insertion, and visual feedback to confirm correct insertion.

The Prestige SLS boasts a 3-D self-draining pocket with zip closure and rear trim weight pockets. Available in two-color options, blue for Men and white for Women (She Dives collection). The She Dives option is specifically cut for women and comes in a range of smaller sizes. All of this allows divers to fully appreciate their dives in comfort and safety.
